The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about change in the education environment where online learning can be the new norm in a post Covid-19 world. Because of the pandemic, digital transformation has been accelerated and there has been an increase in the use of online platforms for learning, teaching and assessment for the students.
There are still families who lack digital devices at home and in some cases, children have to use their parents' phone to access the digital materials. This has resulted in these children to lag behind in their academic developments. Centres like our Student Care centres also struggle to keep up as they may lack adequate technological equipments like laptops for the children's usage.
Bethel Community Services hopes to use the funds raised from this campaign to purchase 10 refurbished laptop units. These units will be utilised to aid in the children's learning through our centres and programmes. Every bit of your effort helps in providing a better environment and condition for the students to grow and learn.
