Our Curriculum

Pre-Nursery (3 years)

Children will be able to recognize their own name, trace, imitate and pretend read. They will listen and give attention to verbal instructions. They will be able to describe simply on past experiences and understand common prepositions. They will learn concept and recognize cardinal numbers of 1 to 10 through concrete experiences. They will show capability of eye-hand coordination. They will use their senses to gain knowledge about the environment around them. They will be able to recite simple rhymes and songs and move in a more coordinated way in music. They will learn to share in group play and adopt social manners and courtesy.

Nursery (4 years)

Emphasis will be placed on language development, basic number skills, gross and fine motor activities. The child will be exposed to rich vocabulary through well-chosen stories, rhymes, songs, craft sessions and indoor / outdoor small group activities. They will be given opportunities to express their ideas and creativity through these sessions. They will understand the concepts of more and less and be able to sort, classify and match according to colours, shapes etc. Children will be able to sing complete songs from memory and enjoy group singing. Children will be able to undertake simple tasks such as cleaning the table etc.

K1 (5 years)

Children will take on more challenging activities in the areas of reading, writing and numbers in K2. They will be groomed in their reading and counting skills, enabling them to practice these skills in their daily experiences. For example, children will be able to dramatize simple stories and speak in complete sentences, write their own name and able to role play. Ample opportunities are also given to children to enhance their fine motor skills through activities like beads threading, paper cutting, painting and manipulative play. Special events and field trips are also included to expand beyond the child's immediate experience of self, home and family.

K2 (6 years)

Children will understand more complex instructions and recognize and use proper pronunciation of words through phonics. Hands-on activities and experiments will be provided to enhance their spatial concepts, problem solving and organization skills. Children will also undergo a programme where their language and number skills can be refined. For example, they can do simple addition, subtraction, learn how to interpret the calendar and acquire some concepts of time and money through routines and role plays. The curriculum is to prepare them to transit to primary school with better confidence.

Our Kinderlites programme fees for children aged between 30 months to 6 years old are as follow:

Safety Health and Nutrition
We strive to ensure that our environment is reasonably safe for our children. Our staff conducts morning health checks of the children and our food meets the basic nutritional needs of the children.
